Le petit
Paris
training project
This is a training project on logo design and minimal corporate identity design.
Task: to create a logo and corporate identity for the "Le Petit Paris" coffee shop. Create a color palette, patterns, show options for using the logo on media.
First pattern and main logo
The pattern is also a color palette.
Already now I see that I pressed the text of the logo very badly to the edges - I should have left more air there ...
This was my very first design project and then I did not understand at all what and why I wanted to do. It seemed to me that the little paris coffee shop should have a retro palette and a little retro style.
Logo options on media
And the vertical logo
There is the same problem with air (why did I press objects so tightly together?)
And also a rather poorly working color palette
...
Now I would definitely do most of this project differently, but it seems important to me to show exactly how it was, so that you can see my path.
Second pattern
And the b&w logo
I like the way a chalk logo looks, but the abbreviated black and white logo makes me dizzy.
The polka dot pattern is funny and generally I like it, but why are the stripes moving out?
This is one of my most controversial projects - I thought for a very long time "maybe not put it in my portfolio at all?"
But then I decided that since I like the color palette despite the fact that I hate green, this is definitely a sign and this pistachio-shaded coffee shop should see the light of day.

Colors, logo versions
By the way, the horizontal version of the logo looks very funny, which looks like a plate. I can think of this as a sign :)
And round logos could be coasters for mugs and glasses, if I made them more neat and didn’t forget about the air.
